This project involves purchase of a property Beaverdam Stream crosses, removal of a crossing which is a stream barrier, and restoration of the stream channel to its natural functioning. To fully open the stream to fish, the stream-crossing must be removed and the stream channel reconstructed to provide a natural stream function. This project will substantially increase the biological functionality of the stream and associated uplands and will open up to 7.5 miles of stream habitat to fish.
