Beaverdam Stream crossing
Project Description:
This project involves purchase of a property which has a crossing of Beaverdam Stream which blocks fish passage, removal of this crossing, and restoration of the stream channel to its natural functioning. It will also conserve a densely vegetated riparian buffer on the stream as it flows across the property. This project will substantially increase the biological functionality of the stream and associated uplands and will open up to 7.5 miles of stream habitat to fish.
