Beaverdam Stream before and after
Project Description:
This project involved purchase of a property which had a crossing of Beaverdam Stream which blocked fish passage, removal of this crossing, and restoration of the stream channel to its natural functioning. It also conserves a densely vegetated riparian buffer on the stream as it flows across the property. This project will substantially increase the biological functionality of the stream and associated uplands and will open up to 7.5 miles of stream habitat to fish.
