Project Description

The Ann Thurlow Preserve conserves approximately 491 acres of land, including approximately 190 acres of freshwater scrub-shrub and forested wetlands, with the balance consisting of upland forest buffer. The site includes approximately four miles of shoreline on the Little Androscoggin River and over a mile of the Webber Brook tributary which is mapped as Wild Brook Trout Habitat. A Silver Maple Floodplain Forest, a rare community type in Maine, is present on the property.
